Dr Bhaskar Basu MB BS, D. Orth, MRCS, FEBPRM (Fellow of European Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) is the Clinical Lead for the Acute Rehabilitation following major trauma at University Hospital South Manchester.

Dr Basu is an important part of the team that provides a comprehensive and specialist Neurorehabilitation service for complex patients in Greater Manchester. Dr Basu provides the consultant service for patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury and neurodegenerative diseases.

Dr Basu has a special interest in complex spasticity management following stroke or brain injury, including Botulinum Toxin chemo denervation.
