Dr Elizabeth Iveson, MBCHB, FRCP UK, is a Neurological Rehabilitation and Internal Medicine Consultant working within the NHS and independent sector, holding key roles including Consultant Stroke all ages and Elderly Care Physician at York Hospital and Lead Consultant for Woodlands Neurological Rehabilitation Unit in York. Dr Iveson works as the Elderly Medicine Lead for the York Integrated Complex Care Team.
Dr Iveson’s interests and expertise include all aspects of complications following acquired brain and spinal injury and Neurological rehabilitation including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and the management of post stroke and TIA complications such as fatigue, spasticity, continence, depression and pain.
Dr Iveson has worked within the NHS for over 20 years and is very experienced in the management of all areas of complex care medicine. She has recently completed a Bond Solon training course in medico-legal report writing.
