Since 2004, Dr Helen Gooday MBChB MRCPsych has worked as a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Woodend Hospital in Aberdeen.

Dr Gooday has particular interest in the rehabilitation of people with acquired brain injuries and also amputee rehabilitation. She has published a retrospective study of falls and other accidents experienced by lower limb amputees. Dr Gooday has written book chapters on Outcome and Prognosis after Traumatic Brain Injury and Working with Families after Brain Injury, along with colleagues in neuropsychology.

Dr Gooday has completed the Bond Solon ‘Excellence in Report Writing’ and "Courtroom Skills" training.
