Helen has been a consultant in rehabilitation medicine at the Woodend Hospital in Aberdeen since 2004. She has particular interests in the rehabilitation of people with acquired brain injuries and also amputee rehabilitation. She has published a retrospective study of falls and other accidents experienced by lower limb amputees. She has written book chapters on Outcome and Prognosis after Traumatic Brain Injury and Working with Families after Brain Injury, along with colleagues in neuropsychology. Helen has completed the Bond Solon ‘Excellence in Report Writing’ and "Courtroom Skills" training, and has some medico- legal experience.
