Dr Shaw is a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation Trust based at the renowned Lane Fox Respiratory Unit and the Bowley Close Regional Specialist Rehabilitation Service.
At the Lane Fox, Dr Shaw is the lead for rehabilitation medicine managing neurological disability including polio and post-polio syndrome rehabilitation and other neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, neuromuscular diseases and spasticity from all causes.
He is the lead clinician at the Bowley Close for assistive technology including Amputation and Prosthetics, Orthotics, Specialist Seating and the Assistive Communication service, treating both adults and children.
Qualified from both Cambridge and Oxford Universities, Dr Shaw is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh) and a member of the Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health. He is also a registered Osteopathic Physician.
