Clinical Experience

Mr. Graeme Marsh currently serves as the Service/Clinical Lead for Regional Electronic Assistive Technology (EAT Services) within the Neurological Services of the Special Care Group at Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr. Marsh has amassed 14 years of specialised experience in Electronic Assistive Technology and its service provision. His deep understanding of this area is further evidenced by his 11-year tenure within the Bioengineering Discipline of the Regional Medical Physics Department. During this time, he spent two years as a Senior Rehabilitation Engineer and nine years as a Rehabilitation Engineer, serving the District Health Authorities in the Northern region.

Prior to his current focus, Mr. Marsh gained valuable experience as a Medical Physics Technician in the Regional Medical Physics Department, and before entering the medical field, enjoyed a career in engineering. He spent 10 years as a Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineer at Marconi Radar Systems Limited, where he honed his technical skills and engineering knowledge.

This diverse background in both engineering and medical physics has uniquely positioned Mr. Marsh as an expert in his current field, blending technical skills with clinical expertise.

  • The general field of Electronic Assistive Technology (EAT)
  • Postural Management – design, manufacture and prescription of bespoke and commercial special seating systems, manual/powered wheelchairs and their adaptations
