Dr Lloyd Bradley BSc MBBS FRCP PhD, is a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at Western Sussex Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust. An honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Kings College London, Dr Bradley specialises in rehabilitation medicine, lifelong neurological disorders, progressive multiple sclerosis and spasticity management.
Dr Bradley is the clinical lead for Donald Wilson House, a 12 bedded specialist rehabilitation unit, responsible for the assessment, management and follow-up for patients coming through this service. He oversees a day patient rehabilitation service and holds regular outpatient clinics for generalised neurological rehabilitation (progressive and acquired neurological disease) as well as specialised transitional and spasticity clinics.

Khadjooi, Kayvan – Dr

Dr Kayvan Khadjooi MD, FRCP (UK), PGCertMedEd, is a Consultant in Stroke Medicine at Addenbrooke’s Hospital and Associate Lecturer in University of Cambridge, School of Medicine. He has extensive experience in all aspects of Stroke Medicine at a leading tertiary centre in the country.
Dr Khadjooi is the educational lead for Telemedicine in Acute Stroke Services in East of England and in his regional role he regularly trains many nurses, doctors and paramedics. He has set up several successful training courses, such as The Cambridge Thrombolysis in Acute Stroke Masterclass.
Dr Kayvan Khadjooi is the founder and clinical lead for Stroke Prevention in Atrial Fibrillation service in Cambridge University Hospitals, which won the AF Association Healthcare Pioneers Award 2019.
A medico-legal expert, Dr Khadjooi’s special interests include prevention of stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation, treatment of acute stroke, including thrombolysis and thrombectomy, TIA and stroke mimics, stroke in younger patients and stroke rehabilitation.

Landham, Lal – Dr

Dr Lal Landham FRCS, FRCP has worked at Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust as a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine since 1991, and as Lead Clinician for Prosthetic and Neuro-rehabilitation services since 1993.
Dr Landham has an excellent knowledge of rehabilitation medicine with special interest in the Rehabilitation of Amputees and Rehabilitation of patients with brain injury.
With over 20 years medico-legal experience, specialising in neurorehabilitation and amputee rehabilitation cases, Dr Landham has acted as an expert witness both for the prosecution and defence.

MacAden, Ashish – Dr

Dr Ashish MacAden, MBBS MD DNB PhD, is a Consultant in Stroke and Rehabilitation medicine at the Raigmore Hospital (NHS Highland), and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Rural Health, both in Inverness.
Dr MacAden’s career in rehabilitation medicine spans more than 20 years of experience in community and hospital-based work, a large portion of which was in an academic rehabilitation department of one of the premier medical schools in India.
A large proportion of Dr MacAden’s work has been with people with spinal cord injury and acquired brain injury, and he helped develop one of the first clinical gait laboratories in India.
Since moving to work in the Scottish Highlands, Dr MacAden has been involved in the integration of stroke and rehabilitation in Raigmore Hospital which offers inpatient services with 30 beds, a rapid access outpatient service for stroke and community and rehabilitation services to almost all the remote and rural areas of the Highlands.

Mamo, Jonathan – Dr

Dr Mamo is the clinical lead for Neurological Rehabilitation at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading and at the West Berkshire Community Hospital in Newbury. He provides the consultant service for patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury and neurodegenerative diseases.

Maté, Abhijit – Dr

For last 12 years Dr Maté has lead a multi-disciplinary team based at the Neurological Rehabilitation Unit in St Michael’s Hospital.
He specialises in managing patients with traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid haemorrhage, spinal cord injuries, hypoxic brain injury and cerebral infections such as meningitis and encephalitis and following neurosurgeries, as well as patients with Guillain Barre Syndrome and Multiple Sclerosis.

Mr Osman is one of four consultants in the at RJAH, which serves a population of 10 million with a catchment area of North Wales, Mid Wales, Cheshire, South Mersey and the West Midlands.
Mr Osman has over 15 years of experience as a medico legal expert, specialising in brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation.

Pinder, Colin – Dr

Dr Pinder is Consultant in Neurological Rehabilitation at St Cyril’s Rehabilitation Unit, Chester and at The Walton Centre in Liverpool.
In his roles, he focuses on the assessment and follow up of patients with severe brain injury, the assessment of head-injury patients who have not required inpatient rehabilitation and on complex patients with a dual diagnosis of brain injury and psychiatric illness.

Sakel, Mohamed – Dr

Dr Mohamed Sakel FRCP is the Director and Consultant Physician in neurorehabilitation at East Kent Hospitals University National Health Service Foundation Trust.
At his inpatient unit, Dr Sakel supports a range of cases including patients living with brain injury, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, cerebral palsy, spinal injuries and young complex stroke survivors.
Dr Sakel holds honorary Senior Research Fellow in Electronic Engineering & Senior Lecturer positions in Psychology at the University of Kent, and his special interests include mobility robotics, neuromodulation and Botox in spasticity.
Dr Sakel has particularly extensive clinical expertise and experience in the field of brain injury rehabilitation. Within his role as the Director of a large neurorehabilitation service, he regularly writes medico-legal reports for the police and insurance companies for patients under his care.

He specialises in managing neurological disability including amputee rehabilitation, polio and post-polio syndrome rehabilitation and other neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, neuromuscular diseases, and spasticity from all causes.
He is the lead clinician at the Bowley Close Rehabilitation Centre for assistive technology including Amputation and Prosthetics, Orthotics, Specialist Seating, and the Assistive Communication service, treating both adults and children.
Dr Shaw is passionate about prosthetics, an area in which very few Consultants specialise in the UK. He is based in Essex.

Dr Jenny Thomas is a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine and is the Medical Director for specialist commissioning within Wales and lead on Major Trauma Rehabilitation Nationally.

Williams, Vicki – Dr

Dr Vicki Williams is a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine with a special interest in neurorehabilitation and metabolic health, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, prolonged disorders of consciousness (PDOC) and neurological disabilities.
In her role as Head of Rehabilitation Medicine at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, Dr Williams manages patients with a range of complex neurological conditions and symptoms including spasticity, contractures, pain, fatigue and other related symptoms. She manages community rehabilitation via outpatient services and metabolic management of patients.
