Medico-Legal Experience

Vishwa Ramnani is a highly experienced Neurorehabilitation Dietitian with an extensive clinical background supporting patients with complex neurological needs. Ms Ramnani brings her extensive experience to his growing medico legal practice.

Clinical Experience

Vishwa Ramnani is the Acute Dietitian Team Leader at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust, a role she has held since 2022. In addition to her NHS commitments, she actively participates in various initiatives to improve care standards and support for patients undergoing neurological rehabilitation.

Vishwa embarked on her career in dietetics after completing her undergraduate studies in India, where she gained a solid foundation in food science and nutrition from 2001 to 2004. Her journey continued as she honed her skills in various dietetic roles across India before moving to the UK.

In 2005, Vishwa began working as a Dietetic Assistant at the Falkirk and District Royal Infirmary, quickly advancing to a Dietitian role at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh the same year. 

Vishwa’s passion for neurological rehabilitation shaped her career path, leading her to specialise as a Dietitian in Acute Stroke and Rehab at the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust from 2006 to 2010. Her expertise grew as she took on the role of Highly Specialist Dietitian and Dietetic Clinical Lead in Neuro-rehabilitation at the Inpatient Neuro-rehabilitation Unit in Moseley Hall Hospital, Birmingham, where she served from 2010 to 2022. During this time, she also contributed significantly as a Specialist Neurorehabilitation Dietitian at Circle Rehabilitation Hospital in Birmingham from 2021 to 2022.
