Medico-Legal Experience

A medical expert witness since 2015, neuro physiotherapist Michelle Kudhail specialises in medico-legal insights for cases involving acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and other neurological conditions.

Ms Kudhail is also part of the NRC Medical Experts team. As Clinical Liaison Specialist, she empowers and supports our stakeholders to navigate expert witness appointments with greater confidence.

Clinical Experience

Ms Kudhail has over 30 years of clinical experience, within the NHS and Independent sector. She has worked clinically in a variety of settings, all within the specialist neurological field, in the UK and also with some experience in Chicago, USA. She has been a clinical lead within a range of multidisciplinary team settings and has also been instrumental in establishing neurorehabilitation services across the UK.

A highly experienced neurological physiotherapist, Ms Kudhail is skilled in managing the complex physical needs of adults following severe brain injury, spinal cord injury and stroke, functional neurological disorder and treating patients with progressive conditions.

Special Interests

Ms. Kudhail specialises in high-quality rehabilitation for patients with severe brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes and functional neurological disorder. She is also experienced in treating individuals with progressive neurological conditions like multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease.

Ms Kudhail is experienced in spasticity management with non-medical prescribing qualifications, gait analysis and balance rehabilitation. In addition to clinical experience, she is also a post-graduate trainer in her areas of specialist skills and experience.
