Medico-Legal Experience

Hannah Cartwright is a highly specialist neurological physiotherapist and brings over 15 years’ clinical experience across NHS and private neurorehabilitation services to her growing medico legal practice. She has expertise in stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, spinal cord injury, vestibular disorders and complex neurological rehabilitation.

Hannah’s clinical background supports clear, practical opinion on rehabilitation needs, functional ability, therapy provision and long-term physical outcomes.

Clinical Experience

Hannah’s clinical expertise includes specialist neurological rehabilitation for people with a range of neurological conditions, with experience across acute, community and private settings.

She currently works as an Associate Neurological Physiotherapist with Neuroconnect Rehabilitation Ltd and NeuroPathway Ltd, providing specialist rehabilitation in clients’ homes, care settings, private hospitals and virtual appointments. Her caseload includes complex neurological conditions such as stroke, MS, Parkinson’s disease, MND and rare neurological presentations.

Hannah previously worked as a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist in Neurosciences at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, with rotational experience across neurosurgery, stroke, neurorehabilitation and outpatient services. Her responsibilities included upper limb rehabilitation, HASU work and private patient services, alongside contributing to the development of acute neurosurgical therapy and private therapy services.

Her earlier roles include specialist neurological physiotherapy at London Bridge Hospital, North West London Healthcare NHS Trust, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Barts and The London NHS Trust. Across these posts, she gained broad experience in stroke rehabilitation, neuro-medical care, ICU, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, trauma, MSK and complex discharge planning.

Hannah has played an active role in service development, including developing private outpatient therapy services, supporting virtual upper limb rehabilitation and helping implement seven-day therapy models in stroke services.
