Medico-Legal Experience
Dr Cynthia Udensi is a highly experienced Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine with an extensive clinical background supporting patients with complex neurological needs. Dr Udensi brings her extensive clinical experience to her growing medico legal practice.
Clinical Experience
Dr Udensi specialises in neurorehabilitation, major trauma and complex neurological disability. She has extensive experience in the assessment and management of adults with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex stroke, prolonged disorders of consciousness (PDOC), multiple sclerosis, spasticity and other complex neurological conditions across acute, specialist inpatient and community rehabilitation settings. She has expertise in botulinum toxin injections and spasticity management.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Udensi is the Training Programme Director for Rehabilitation Medicine in the East of England and a member of the Rehabilitation Medicine Specialty Advisory Committee (SAC) of the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board (JRCPTB). She is actively involved in postgraduate medical education, research and service development, and undertakes independent medico-legal work for both claimant and defendant instructions.
Special Interests
Dr Udensi has a special interest in Neurological Rehabilitation, Complex Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Major Trauma, and Musculoskeletal Injuries.
