Medico-Legal Experience
Over the last 15 years, Dr. Elie Okirie has been actively engaged in medico-legal practice, primarily focusing on adult patients aged between 16 to 65 years. During this time, he has produced more than 50 reports for various courts on acquired brain injury cases.
Dr. Okirie has compiled over 180 medical reports for insurance companies, with over 90% of these reports concentrated on brain injury cases. This substantial body of work highlights his deep involvement and expertise in the medico-legal aspects of brain injury assessment and reporting.

Dr Eliezar Okirie is a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, Clinical Director and Consultant in Specialist Neuro Rehabilitation for Central England Rehabilitation Unit (CERU), Leamington Spa Hospital and University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire.
Dr. Elie Okirie brings over 30 years of experience as a medical doctor, with the last 24 years dedicated to the rehabilitation of individuals with severe and complex disabilities.
In his clinical practice, Dr. Okirie is involved in the comprehensive assessment of disability and the determination of therapy requirements. He excels in patient-centred goal planning, case conferences, and overseeing the rehabilitation process. His work includes assessing care needs and providing advice on employment, leisure, and social opportunities for disabled individuals.
Special Interests
His expertise is particularly focused on brain injuries, encompassing both traumatic and vascular cases such as stroke, as well as post-concussion injuries, spinal injuries, and long-term neurological conditions like multiple sclerosis and neuromuscular disorders.
Dr. Okirie has developed significant expertise in treating patients with complex spasticity, disabling muscle spasms, and chronic pain syndromes.
