Award-winning Consultant Neurosurgeon Mr Jonathan Shapey brings his extensive clinical experience to the medico-legal sector.
Clinical Experience
Mr Jonathan Shapey is Hunterian Professor of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Honorary Consultant Neurosurgeon and Co-Director of King’s NeuroLab at King’s College Hospital, one of the UK’s largest trauma centres.
His expertise lies in complex brain tumours, and his special interests include skull base tumours and pituitary tumours. Mr Shapey also has extensive experience in managing traumatic brain injuries and spinal emergencies, including cauda equina syndrome.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr Shapey, who holds a PhD in Neurosurgery, is Senior Clinical Lecturer at King’s College and an academic researcher specialising in healthcare engineering for neurosurgery.
