Medico-Legal Experience

Professor Scott Glickman is a surgically trained rehabilitation physician with over 40 years of clinical experience. He provides expert opinion in complex personal injury and medical negligence cases involving acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological conditions.

His medico-legal work draws on a career across the NHS, academic medicine, and healthcare innovation, including specialist expertise in neuro-urology and intravesical therapies for bladder dysfunction. He is particularly experienced in cases involving long-term rehabilitation outcomes, complex disability, and the interface between neurological and urological symptoms.

Professor Glickman has held substantive and locum consultant posts in neurorehabilitation, community and specialist rehabilitation services, and spinal injury centres across the UK. He has been an invited advisor to multiple grant-giving bodies and remains clinically active in neurorehabilitation.

Clinical Experience

Professor Glickman is a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine with decades of senior experience in both NHS and private sectors. He has held substantive consultant posts in London and Buckinghamshire and has continued to practise in a wide range of locum roles across the UK, most recently supporting neurorehabilitation services in Kent, Northampton, York, and Salisbury.

His clinical expertise centres on neurorehabilitation, including acquired brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis. He has a strong interest in neuro-urology and intravesical treatment options, and has led both inpatient and outpatient services for people with long-term disability.

He was previously Head of the Academic Medical Rehabilitation Unit at Imperial College London and has served as a senior lecturer, grant assessor, and national curriculum contributor.

Professor Glickman has authored more than 25 peer-reviewed research papers and five book chapters in neurorehabilitation, neuro-urology, spasticity, tremor, and sialorrhoea. He has also been a PhD supervisor and an assessor for the NIHR i4i programme and Healthcare Technology Cooperatives.

In parallel with clinical work, he is an award-winning inventor in healthcare technology, holding five patents. He has also co-founded and chaired leading disability charities including ASPIRE and the MOTIVATION Charitable Trust.
