Medico-Legal Experience

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Dr Augustine Aluko is a highly experienced medical expert witness, providing medico-legal services since 2013. He has completed expert witness training including the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificates for Civil and Criminal procedures.

Clinical Experience

Dr Aluko’s extensive clinical experience spans several decades in physiotherapy and healthcare. Currently, he works as a First Contact MSK Physiotherapist with Berkshire Rural PCN, a role he has held since 2021. In this position, he addresses all musculoskeletal problems directly with patients, without the need for GP referrals. His typical day involves reviewing patient lists, conducting face-to-face appointments, making referrals to various specialists, requesting X-rays and other tests, and liaising with GPs on complex cases.

Dr Aluko previously worked as a Healthcare Professional at the Centre for Health and Disability Assessments (CHDA) with Maximus UK and served as Superintendent in Outpatients at the Royal Berkshire and Battle Hospitals NHS Trust. His earlier roles include Senior Physiotherapist positions at different NHS Trusts and in private practice.

Dr Aluko also founded and manages Physiotherapy Consultancy Services Ltd and has experience as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy at Brunel University. His career, which began in Nigeria, demonstrates a broad range of expertise and a strong commitment to both patient care and the development of the physiotherapy field.
