Mr Khaled Elawady is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with an extensive clinical background in trauma and orthopaedics in adults and paediatric patients. Mr Elawady brings his extensive clinical experience to his growing medico legal practice.

Clinical Experience

Mr Elawady’s extensive training and range of experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of various orthopaedic conditions and advanced surgical techniques, making him a respected figure in his field.

Throughout his career, Mr Elawady has held numerous significant positions in the UK, Persian Gulf and Egypt. He currently serves as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon with specialist interest in Paediatric Orthopaedics, Trauma (adults and children) and arthroplasty (Hips and Knees), Mr Elawady previous roles include Locum Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Locum Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedics (Trauma and Paediatric Orthopaedics) at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, and Senior Post CCT Fellow in Paediatric Trauma and Orthopaedics at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

His work in these roles has focused on both paediatric and adult orthopaedics, with a special interest in neurorehabilitation and neuromuscular problems, contributing to his comprehensive expertise in managing complex trauma and orthopaedic cases.

Mr Elawady’s contributions to the field extend beyond clinical practice to academia and research. He has served as a Specialist Lecturer in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Ahmed Maher Teaching Hospital in Egypt and has been involved in numerous research projects and publications, national and international multi-centre trials in the fields of arthroplasty, trauma and Paediatric Orthopaedics.

Mr Elawady’s commitment to advancing orthopaedic knowledge and improving patient care is also evident from his participation in various professional courses, further enhancing his skills and staying updated with the latest developments in his field.
